Post-doctoral Position

There is an immediate postdoc opening in areas of PET/SPECT imaging and radioisotope therapy. Previous experiences with radio-labeling, cell-binding assay, animal handling, cell culture and certain biology experiments (histology etc.) are preferred but not required. Salary will be at the NIH standard level based on experience:https://www.niaid.nih.gov/grants-contracts/salary-cap-stipends.

Due to the pandemic and related travel ban, priority will be given to candidates that received a PhD degree within the last 2 years and are currently in the United States. The Cai group also welcomes talented undergraduate students who are interested in molecular imaging and nanotechnology research.

Self-motivation, good writing and oral communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented setting in a multidisciplinary environment are required. Potential research topics include molecular imaging, nanotechnology/nanomedicine, cancer research, stem cell research, among others.
